How to Apply Schengen Visa?
You can apply for the Schengen visa from a country that is
in the Schengen area, most of the time, you can request it through a visa
application center in your country. I applied through Yugo.pk in Lahore,
Pakistan.
The countries of the Schengen Area are: Germany, Austria,
France, Italy, Netherlands, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Hunger, Czech Republic,
Slovenia, Slovakia, Switzerland, Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Finland, Poland,
Sweden, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Belgium, Portugal, Spain, Greece and Malta.
You can apply for a Schengen visa in any of the countries
mentioned above and, if granted, you can visit all these countries with a valid
Schengen visa. However, if you are confused about the Schengen country to apply
for the visa, then there is a simple rule for this. Apply in the country where
you will spend most of the days of your trip in the Schengen area. That is
called the main destination in the schengen, in case your days are the same,
then you can apply in the country where you will first enter the schangen area.
But this is not a strict law; you can enter any Schengen
country with a valid Schengen visa and can leave another Schengen country.
However, for future visa applications, it is good to use your Schengen visa to
enter the country you mentioned in your application and you can leave any other
country. That is not a problem at all.

My Tips for Schengen Visa
Since obtaining the Schengen visa for the first time is one
of the difficult things, I would advise you to make a short, clear and
understandable itinerary according to your financial situation and budget. Do
not include too many countries in the first application, plan a trip only for
one or more Schengen countries and, when you have the visa, you can change your
plan later if you want to visit more countries.
Apply in advance, legally; you can apply for a Schengen visa
three months before the date of your trip. Try to request in low season, so
that the embassy / consulate have enough time to study your application. May,
June and July are very busy months for European embassies around the world
because it is the time when more requests than the average are received.
If you are going sightseeing, first try to genuinely visit
other popular tourist countries such as Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, UAE,
Maldives, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan and Turkey, etc., which will make it clear to
you that you are a true tourist and general, travel outside of your country for
tourism purposes.
Last but not least, keep your financial records clear and
clean. For example, if you are employed, keep your salary receipts and credit
your salary in your bank account through the appropriate channels, such as a
bank check from the company credited to your account. If you have savings in
your personal account other than your salary, explain this in your cover letter
to the embassy so they can better understand your financial situation.
